The woman is dressed in a coat, hat and gloves and most of the men are in overcoats and hats.
Most of this notebook consists of field notes from observing insects, some at Wolf Lake, Evanston, and Pasadena, California. Also included are minutes from a Chicago City Council meeting, a list of relatives of John Butler, notes from a De Vries lecture on heredity, and a short poem on unrequited love. The back of the book notes "Wish I had a chicken salad."
