This scrapbook consists of photographs taken by J. B. Davidson while attending the International Conference on Engineering in 1935. The photographic subjects are agricultural operations located in Great Britain and other parts of Europe.
The first of three scrapbooks J. B. Davidson created following a trip to Europe for the II International Congress of Rural Engineering, Madrid Spain, 1935.

1949
A collection of Jay Brownlee Davidson's photographs taken during an International Harvester sponsored trip to China from 1947-1949 to introduce agricultural engineering to the Chinese. A pamphlet, "Committee on Agricultural Engineering for China," is included in the collection and describes the purpose of this committee and Dr. Davidson's appointment as chair. The date 1944 is hand-written on the cover of the pamphlet.
