Field notes were contributed by James J. Dinsmore, spring 1984. Species documented were Red-necked Grebes at Little Wall Lake, Lake Smith, and south of Ruthven; Snowy Egrets at Albion; a Mute Swan at Smiths Slough; Cinnamon Teals at Union Slough and Riverton; a Yellow Rail at Doolittle Prairie; and Great-tailed Grackles at Finn Pond. Other observers of the documented sightings were Joe Clark, Mike Brown, Joseph P. Fleskes, Erwin E. Klaas, and John E. Mayfield. This item was used as supporting documentation for the Iowa Ornithologists' Union Quarterly field report of spring 1984.
