- Field notes and map from Michael C. Newlon covered bird sightings in the Iowa City area, winter 1974-1975. The map showed the locations of the Hawkeye Wildlife Area, the Coralville Reservoir and Dam, and Cone March relative to Iowa City. Some sightings extended into March, and were also recorded on the Mississippi River between Davenport and the locks. These items were undated with years, but they were used as supporting documentation for the Iowa Ornithologists' Union Quarterly field report of winter 1974-1975.
