This includes: grow improved seed on the county farm and distribute this seed to the farmers of the county, conduct demonstrations on the county farm, hold short course schools, help with work in the rural schools, supervise cooperative experiments, plant corn with different numbers of kernels per hill, establish a farmers information bureau, organize dairy test associations, organize granges and clubs, and cooperate with existing agencies.
