The Men’s League continued civic discussions, and musical circles formed a Choral Study Club to rehearse Coleridge-Taylor’s Hiawatha. National news praised Judge Perkins’ ruling admitting Black students to a Michigan veterinary college, and Rev. Horace Talbert of Wilberforce University visited Des Moines, and other topics.
