A January 1903 reference reported he was in Colorado Springs and was assigned to start a church there in 1904. The cornerstone for the church was set on May 4, 1904. He held positions in Colorado into the early 1910s, but returned to the Midwest by the late 1910s. He served as a minister in Hannibal, Missouri by 1918. He remained in the area until his death in 1938.
